XJTAG will hold a free boundary scan training workshop at the UK’s Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). The workshop will provide an introduction to boundary scan and to show how the debug, test and programming process can be used throughout the product life cycle. The XJTAG workshop will take place Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Coventry.
XJTAG released the latest version of their boundary scan development system. Engineers can intuitively learn how to use XJTAG 3.0 without attending lengthy and expensive training courses. The new XJTAG Development System is now available on a 30-day free trial.
XJTAG introduced their XJQuad multiport JTAG testing solution. XJQuad is a cost-effective four-port JTAG adaptor targeted at manufacturers. It uses a single USB 2.0 port on a PC to provide high speed JTAG access and can simultaneous test four circuit boards, each of which can be provided with up to four JTAG Test Access Ports. XJQuad enables engineers to test boards together in batches, or to run the four ports independently. XJQuad is ideal for connection testing, in-system programming, non-JTAG device testing, and serial number handling.
XJTAG will host a free workshop. The event will explain how boundary scan testing can help board designers and engineers. The boundary scan workshop is designed to provide design, development, test, and production engineers with a practical hands-on introduction to boundary scan. Engineers will learn how boundary scan can be used right across the product lifecycle to improve designs, reduce respins and enhance test coverage, fault diagnosis and production yields on complex BGA-populated circuits. The Introductory to Boundary Scan workshop will take place Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at XJTAG’s Cambridge headquarters.
XJTAG introduced the latest version of their development system. Version 2.6 of the XJTAG boundary scan software features automated matching capability, which will help engineers achieve even faster board set up times. XJTAG reduces test-development and debugging time for electronics system. The XJTAG Development System v2.6 is now available for a 30-day free trial.
XJTAG version 2.5 features a free layout viewer. The XJTAG Layout Viewer works in conjunction with XJDeveloper and XJRunner. XJDeveloper enables engineers to quickly and easily set up and run tests on a circuit and create and customize tests to their requirements. XJRunner is a specialized run-time environment for testing. It includes a range of features that are useful for engineers in debugging, testing and doing repair work.
XJTAG introduced the XJTAG XTR series boundary scan solution. The XJTAG XTR series offers improvements in functionality and usability. The new boundary scan system makies debugging, testing and programming electronic printed circuit boards and systems more efficient. XJTAG XTR features multiple Test Access Ports (TAPs), configurable TAP voltage and voltage measurement, flexible pin mapping and GPIO on pins.
