National Instruments UK and Ireland announce a seven-part Sensor Measurements Fundamentals Webcast Series. The first webinar in the series will cover the essentials of data acquisition and lay the groundwork for subsequent sessions. The rest of the online seminars will focus on specific sensor applications such as temperature, velocity or strain measurements. During each webcast, NI UK and Ireland engineers will present measurement fundamentals, from theory to practice. The first webcast will take place on Tuesday, December 11th.
Calypto Design Systems will host two webinars next month. The online seminars will educate designers on the latest in high level synthesis (HLS) and power optimization techniques for RTL-based designs. The titles of the webcasts are Minimizing RTL Power through Sequential Analysis, and A Practical Comparison Between C++ and SystemC for High Level Synthesis.
element14 and Freescale Semiconductor are sponsoring two free one-hour webinars. The title of the webcast is: Energy efficient designs made simple with the rich enablement of Kinetis L series microcontrollers. The online seminars will take place on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 12 noon CDT and on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 12 noon CDT. Engineers can attend the live webinars or view on-demand versions afterwards on the element14 engineering community.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas will hold their annual Power Forum next month. The virtual forum will feature over 30 webinars. The technical webcasts offer practical, solutions-based training for design engineers. The virtual event will start at midnight EDT on September 19, 2012. The Avnet Power Forum is free. Registration is open now for the 24-hour event.
Apache Design announced four online seminars for this month. The webcasts will cover simulation software platforms and methodologies that meet integrated circuit (IC) power, performance and price demands for low-power mobile, high-performance computing, consumer and automotive electronics. The Apache Low Power Webinar Series will take place July 24, July 25, July 26, and July 31.
National Instruments UK & Ireland is hosting a series of webinars about smart machine design. The webcasts will present technologies, techniques and tips for optimizing machine monitoring, energy efficiency and smart machine design. The online seminars will discuss how engineers can apply graphical system design techniques to maximize production quality through performance measurements, lower the energy consumption of designs, and differentiate themselves from their competition with key technologies for smart machines. The NI Smart Machine Webcast Series will take place June 26-28th.
Avnet Embedded and 13 SSD vendors will host a free, two-day virtual summit. The Solid State Drive Virtual Summit will cover the rugged, durable, energy efficient benefits of SSDs. The online event will feature technical webinars, live chats, and presentations. Avnet’s virtual summit will take place April 3rd and 4th. Vendors include Adaptec by PMC, Dell OEM, Hitachi GST, Intel, LSI Corp., Kingston, Micron Technology, OCZ Technology, Rorke Data (an Avnet Company), Smart Storage Technology, Seagate, STEC and Toshiba.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas and Freescale Semiconductor are offering a series of webinars. The online seminars will discuss how to make the most of quad core and dual core technologies for next-generation designs. The webcasts are designed for both system architects, and hardware and software engineers. The webinars will demonstrate the best ways to extract the performance potential available from a multicore system, which will enable engineers to design systems that can achieve impressive performance, at a manageable power envelope.
National Instruments is offering a series of webinars on RF measurements. The webcasts will discuss the fundamentals of making RF measurements and focus on technique, best practices and increasing productivity with the industry’s latest tools. Each of the RF Measurements online seminars will be webcast twice each day, at 10am and 2pm GMT (subtract five hours for eastern standard time). The NI webinars will take place in March. The webcasts will also be available on demand after the series is complete.
Apache Design Solutions is offering a series of low-power webinars. The webcasts will cover low power methodologies, IP integration, chip-package-system solutions, RTL power analysis, SoC power integrity, analog mixed-signal power noise, full-chip ESD integrity, and IC package power. The eight online seminars will take place at 11am (PDT) in the months of July and August.
