Atego rolled out version six of Perc Ultra virtual machine and tool set for real-time embedded systems. Aonix Perc Ultra 6 features Java 6 language support, a new high-performance Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM) compiler, a graphical console, and the new Virtual File System. Aonix Perc Ultra 6 is available now with development tools on Linux or Windows platforms (including Windows 7), and supports Linux and RTOS execution on a number of target processors.
Atego rolled out Aonix Perc Ultra for VxWorks MILS Platform 2.1. Atego’s Aonix Perc Ultra is a virtual machine and tool set expressly created for demanding embedded and real-time systems requiring Java Standard Edition support. Aonix Perc Ultra offers the ease and efficiency of Java SE without sacrificing integrity, performance, or real-time behavior. Aonix Perc Ultra 5.3 and Aonix Perc Ultra SMP 5.4 feautre Ahead-of-Time (AOT) and Just-in-Time (JIT) compilation, remote debug support, deterministic garbage collection, standard graphics and extended commercial RTOS support on a wide variety of target processors.
Atego recently launched Aonix Perc Ultra SMP 5.4. The latest version of the development tool supports concurrent multi-processor Garbage Collection (GC) technology atop ARM multi-core processors. Aonix Perc Ultra SMP 5.4 supports multi-core ARM processors such as those based on the ARM Cortex A9 processor. Initial testing of this port was done using a four core ARM processor running Linux. Aonix Perc Ultra SMP 5.4 for Linux/ARM target support is available now from Atego.
