DATE 2013 will take place March 18-22 at the Alpexpo Conference Center in Grenoble, France. The conference features keynotes, tutorials, workshops and exhibition. DATE 2013 will be opened by plenary keynote speakers Dr. Benedetto Vigna, Vice President of STMicroelectronics, who will give a presentation addressing Smart Systems for the Internet of Things, and professor Massoud Pedram from the University of Southern California, who will talk on Creating a Sustainable Information and Communication Infrastructure.
The International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design will take place Monday, March 4 through Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at TechMart, Santa Clara. The event includes free admission to select presentations and exhibits. ISQED 2013 conference includes 22 technical sessions, close to one hundred papers, keynotes, tutorials, workshops and exhibits. The event will focus on the latest innovations and developments in electronic design and manufacturing.
The 2013 Design and Verification Conference (DVCon) will feature twelve technical sessions, ten tutorials, a poster session with over twenty posters being presented, and two panels throughout the conference. DVCon is a conference for the discussion of the functional design and verification of electronic systems. The event is sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, an independent, not-for profit organization dedicated to creating design and verification standards. VCon will take place February 25 – 28 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California.
DesignCon 2013 will feature over 100 in-depth tutorials, technical paper sessions, panel discussions, presentations and an educational forum. The two-day event is ideal for engineers in the chip, board and systems design community. DesignCon 2013, which is hosted by UBM Electronics, will take place January 28-31 in Santa Clara, California. This year’s Design and Verification Conference and Exhibition will take place next week, February 27th to March 1st, in San Jose, California. DVCon 2012 is a conference for functional design and verification. The event will focus on bringing information from the leading edge of technology, techniques, standards and methods. This year’s DVCon Expo will feature tutorials, panels, technical sessions and 34 exhibitors.
Analog Devices (ADI) is offering a webinar on sampled data systems. The title of the webcast is: Understanding Sampled Data Systems – Part One. The 60-minute online seminar will take place on April 13, 2011 at 12:00 pm EST. The tutorial will focus on the conversion of analog electrical signals into digital signals, which can then be analyzed and manipulated by DSP, microcontrollers, and other embedded processors.
QA&TEST has issued a call for papers. The deadline to submit a paper is March 25, 2011. Papers can be sent in English or Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation services will be provided during the conference. Embedded systems QA and test engineers can submit two types of papers:
Tutorials: insight into technologies, tools, instruments and working methods, showing clearly and concisely the practical elements of their implementation
Track Presentations: topics of QA and testing for embedded systems and best practices in the QA and testing field
The Real-Time 2011 Conference has issued a call for papers, presentations, and tutorials. Papers, presentations and tutorials should focus on real-world applications of real-time simulation, hardware-in-the-loop and rapid control prototyping technologies. The deadline to submit an abstract is March 16, 2011. The deadline for submission of final manuscripts and presentations is May 2, 2011. Real-Time 2011, hosted by Opal-RT Technologies, will take in Shanghai, June 20-22, 2011.

The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is nine months away, but the first submission deadline is October 19, 2010. This includes User Track submissions, Wild and Crazy ideas (WACI) submissions, Special Session, Panel and Tutorial proposals and co-located events. DAC 2011 is seeking submissions that deal with tools, algorithms, EDA tool usage and design technologies for all aspects of electronic circuit, system, embedded design, embedded systems, and embedded software. The 48th DAC will be held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, from June 5-10, 2011.
