Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference Includes MEDS and MILESTONE Events

The Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference (RTECC) is headed to Boston at the Sheraton Framingham next Tuesday, May 15, 2012. The RTC Group’s event features two keynotes, Android: A Medical Development Perspective (presented by Alan Cohen of Logic PD) and Where’s My Drone?… and other Technology Security Issues for Tactical Military Electronics (presented by Glenn Thoren of Charles Stark Draper Laboratory). RTECC also includes two new co-located events: the Medical Electronic Device Solutions Conference (MEDS) and the Military Electronics Development Conference known as MILESTONE.

Symtavision Releases Version 3.1 of SymTA/S and TraceAnalyzer

Symtavision released version 3.1 of SymTA/S and TraceAnalyzer integrated system-level tools for planning, optimizing and verifying embedded real-time systems. Improvements in SymTA/S 3.1 and TraceAnalyzer 3.1 include new Scenario Management, a new FIBEX 3.1 import interface and improved Relative Deadline support. In addition, over 50 functional improvements have been implemented at the request Audi, BMW, Bosch, Daimler, Fiat, General Motors, Infineon and Volkswagen.

The RTR 2746 can digitize analog inputs at up to 200 MS/sec per channel and stream data to mass storage at an aggregate rate of 1600 MB per second. The Pentek RTR 2746 meets MIL-STD-810F requirements for operation in harsh environments and is ideal for unmanned vehicles. SinelaboreRT is a tool for real-time embedded systems developers. SinelaboreRT generates readable and maintainable code from UML modeling tools. The generated code does not require a runtime library and can be easily used in different system designs (RTOS, foreground-background) or even in an IRQ handler.
