The International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design will take place Monday, March 4 through Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at TechMart, Santa Clara. The event includes free admission to select presentations and exhibits. ISQED 2013 conference includes 22 technical sessions, close to one hundred papers, keynotes, tutorials, workshops and exhibits. The event will focus on the latest innovations and developments in electronic design and manufacturing.
Coverity launched version 6.5 of their Development Testing Platform, which is an integrated suite of software testing technologies for identifying and remediating critical quality and security issues during development. The latest version features Coverity Test Advisor for change impact analysis and unit testing on high risk code, including changed code and code impacted by a change, alerting developers of code not covered by unit tests. Coverity Development Testing Platform 6.5 is available now.
The International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design will take Monday, March 19 through Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at TechMart, Santa Clara. The 13th annual ISQED features talks by experts that cover multiple topics related to electronic design and semiconductors. Speakers and attendees include designers, users, and providers of integrated circuits (IC) and systems, semiconductor packaging, assembly and test technology, as well as Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools. The conference includes 22 technical sessions with close to one hundred papers. It also features keynotes, tutorials, workshops and exhibits with a focus on the latest innovations in electronic design.
The 2011 International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED) features seven keynote speeches, poster sessions, nine tutorials, over 100 technical presentations, and exhibits. The conference will take place March 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, CA. The event is co-located with Sematech’s Design for Reliability Workshop (Stress Management for 3D ICs Using Through Silicon Vias) and the International Electronic Design Education Conference (IEDEC). the ISQED keynote speeches and exhibits are free and open to all.
The deadline to submit a paper for the Asia Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ASQED) is April 23. ASQED accepts and promotes papers related to circuit and system design (digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal), semiconductor manufacturing, advanced IC packaging, test, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), as well as emerging semiconductor nano/bio-technologies, and photovoltaic electronics. The conference is produced by the International Society for Quality Electronic Design (ISQED). ASQED will be held in Penang, Malaysia, August 3-4, 2010.
Satin IP Technologies will be in a panel at the IP-Embedded Systems Conference in Grenoble, France on December 1, 2009 from 17:15 to 18:45. They will discuss improving intellectual property (IP) quality without losing design productivity. The panel (entitled Improving IP Quality vs. Losing Design Productivity – What Are the Tradeoffs?) will discuss issues that arise when time-to-market and cost reductions dominate IP design and integration, since instituting design practices for enhanced quality can be seen as overhead by engineers and engineering managers.
