PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme Universal Debug Engine (UDE) 4.0

PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme released version four of their Universal Debug Engine (UDE). UDE 4.0 features improved debug capabilities for multicore targets, optimized visualization options during system test and dedicated support for the latest 32-bit multicore System-On-Chips (SOCs). UDE 4.0 now supports microcontrollers (MCUs) for the Infineon AURIX family, Freescale Qorivva MPC57XX family, and STMicroelectronics SPC57x family.

PLS Universal Debug Engine 3.0.7 Supports NXP LPC4300

PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme recently announced version 3.0.7 of their Universal Debug Engine (UDE). UDE 3.0.7 features optimized test and debug functions for the NXP LPC4300 dual-core system-on-chip (SoC) family and offers unlimited dual-core debugging under a single user interface. The LPC4300 features an asymmetrical dual-core digital signal controller (DSC) architecture and two processors (ARM Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M0). The two processors operate with their own clock supply and their own power management, but the communication takes place via a shared memory.

PLS Universal Debug Engine 3.0

Universal Debug Engine (UDE) 3.0 is the latest debugging tool from PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme. UDE 3.0 features unique visualization capabilities, an enhanced Eclipse integration and extensive dedicated support for a wide range of high-end microcontroller architectures. Universal Debug Engine 3.0 is available for all 32-bit and 64-bit versions from Windows XP to Windows 7. The tool can be integrated at no extra cost in Eclipse environments based on Ganymede 3.4.x, Galileo 3.5.x and Helios 3.6 with the appropriate C/C++-IDE (CDT 5.0.x,6.0,7.0).
