Infolytica launched version 1.4 of MotorSolve. The software tool suite supports brushless dc/PMAC (BLDC), induction machine (IM), switched reluctance machine (SRM) and DC motors (DCM). Infolytica MotorSolve v2.6 Electric Machine Design Software

Infolytica launched version 2.6 of their MotorSolve electric machine design software. MotorSolve v2.6 features synchronous reluctance motor templates and improved loss predictions. Infolytica rolled out version 2.4 of MotorSolve, which is a electric motor design software for brushless dc, induction and switched-reluctance machines. MotorSolve makes it easy to design and verify the performance characteristics of an electric motor with accuracy and speed. MotorSolve v2.4 has several new templates, new VHDL-AMS model exporting of an induction or brushless-dc motor for use in multi-domain simulations and now supports multi core processing. Infolytica MotorSolve v2.4 is now available for PC’s running Microsoft Windows 7, Vista and XP.

Infolytica MagNet v7 Electromagnetic Field Simulation Software

Infolytica introduced version 7 of MagNet electromagnetic field simulation software. MagNet v7 now includes additional support for multicore processors and modeling nonlinear surface impedances. MagNet v7 features new parallel computing 3D solvers which are optimized to take full advantage of multicore processors. For computational intensive design problems, the simulation time is reduced significantly due to better management of the cores. MagNet v7.1 is now available for PC’s running Microsoft Windows 7, XP, and Vista.

The latest version will enable engineers to simulate the magnetization of a permanent magnet and offers expanded multicore support and other new features.
