National Electronics Week SA 2012 also includes seminars that cover key industry topics and offer advice and techniques to improve current processes and work practices. Seminar topics include LED, lead free processes, wireless communications, and smart grip applications. National Electronics Week SA 2012 will take place next month (March 13–14) in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The 24th EDA Interoperability Forum will take place at the end of the month on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 9:30 am to 2 pm in Sunnyvale, California. The 60-minute online seminar will take place on June 8, 2011, at 12:00 pm ET. The webinar will be presented by David Kress, Director of Technical Marketing, ADI.

IEEE is offering a virtual conference for the IEEE Smart Grid World Forum, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium on December 2-3, 2010. The IEEE Smart Grid World Forum Virtual Conference provides insightful presentations and discussions with an international perspective on a broad range of Smart Grid topics, including business and technical considerations, as well as standards. The virtual events will take place December 3rd (Dec 2 sessions) and 4th (Dec 3 sessions). The 2010 European Integrated Electrical Solutions Forum (IESF) will take place December 2, 2010 in Frankfurt, Germany. The 2011 Design and Verification Conference (DVCon) is seeking paper and panel abstract submissions and tutorial proposals. Paper and panel proposals are due August 31, 2010. Sponsored tutorial proposals are due September 16, 2010. DVCon 2011 will be held February 28 to March 3, 2011 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California. DVCon is sponsored by Accellera, an industry consortium dedicated to the development and standardization of design and verification languages.
