Synopsys Galaxy Custom Designer now features SmartDRD design-rules-driven technology. SmartDRD technology enables layout engineers to more quickly achieve design-rule-check (DRC) clean designs with significantly reduced effort for analog and custom designs. C2000 controlSUITE software includes libraries and examples that are full, open source projects, serving as true development systems for applications such as motor control. In addition, a new installer eliminates frustrations related to versioning and dependencies and gives developers access to the complete software offering in a centralized location.

ZeBu-Server, from EVE (Emulation & Verification Engineering), now offers superior multi-user capabilities that can support up to 25 users concurrently. Each ZeBu-Server user or design can utilize any of the available resources, and allocation of the emulation resources is completely automatic. Each user can have a dedicated host PC with its own PCIe interface for maximum bandwidth and PC computing power.
