The Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference (RTECC) is headed to Boston at the Sheraton Framingham next Tuesday, May 15, 2012. The RTC Group’s event features two keynotes, Android: A Medical Development Perspective (presented by Alan Cohen of Logic PD) and Where’s My Drone?… and other Technology Security Issues for Tactical Military Electronics (presented by Glenn Thoren of Charles Stark Draper Laboratory). RTECC also includes two new co-located events: the Medical Electronic Device Solutions Conference (MEDS) and the Military Electronics Development Conference known as MILESTONE.
The Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference (RTECC) will take place in Irvine, California on August 23, 2011 and in San Diego on August 25th. The San Diego RTECC event is co-located with the new MEDS – Medical Electronic Device Solutions Conference (covers home diagnostics and institutional healthcare imaging). RTECC events cover industrial control and automation, military and aerospace, telecommunications / telephony, vehicular control and maintenance, consumer electronics, data communications, process control, and embedded appliances.
GE Intelligent Platforms rolled out version five of their Advanced Multiprocessor Integrated Software (AXIS). AXIS is a development environment for the design, creation, testing and deployment of complex DSP and multiprocessing platforms for real-time applications. AXIS is ideal for radar, sonar, communications and image processing.
COM Express Day is a free event taking place November 9th at the Santa Clara Convention Center. COM Express Day offers design engineers, engineering managers, product planners, test engineers, and systems engineers a chance to learn about COM Express technology. The event will include an introduction, design and application talks, and panels about the new 2.0 specification and the future of COM Express.
