Keil MCBSTM32F400 and MCBSTM32F200 Development Kits ~ Premier Farnell

Premier Farnell introduced the Keil MCBSTM32F400 and MCBSTM32F200 Development Kits. The ARM Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M4 processor-based STM32F2xx and STM32F4xx Development Kits will be shipped with Keil MDK-Lite Development Tools and the ULINK-ME Debug Adapter. The Cortex-M3 processor-based STM32F2xx and the Cortex-M4 processor-based STM32F4xx devices featured on the boards can reduce power consumption in applications requiring both high processing power and low-power performance when running at low voltage or on rechargeable batteries.

PLS Universal Debug Engine 3.0.7 Supports NXP LPC4300

PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme recently announced version 3.0.7 of their Universal Debug Engine (UDE). UDE 3.0.7 features optimized test and debug functions for the NXP LPC4300 dual-core system-on-chip (SoC) family and offers unlimited dual-core debugging under a single user interface. The LPC4300 features an asymmetrical dual-core digital signal controller (DSC) architecture and two processors (ARM Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M0). The two processors operate with their own clock supply and their own power management, but the communication takes place via a shared memory.

The CoWare software development solutions already include support for Fast Models from ARM for the Cortex-A9, Cortex-A8, Cortex-R4 and Cortex-M3 processors. The ARM Cortex IA Model Integration Library to enable usage of Cortex-A5, Cortex-A8, Cortex-A9, Cortex-R4, Cortex M3 and Cortex-M4 Fast Models from ARM in CoWare Virtual Platform and CoWare Platform Architect is available from CoWare now.
