Cypress Semiconductor, EE Times and ARM are currently holding the ARM Cortex M3 / PSoC 5 Design Challenge. Over $10,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded throughout the contest. Three winners will be selected based on creativity, design efficiency, usefulness, video cleverness, and track specific criteria: use of analog resources, digital resources and PSoC Creator Component. An additional winner will be selected by a vote of the members. From these four $1000 winners, a grand prize winner will be chosen by the Jjudges and awarded an additional $2500 prize.
Texas Instruments announced the DesignStellaris 2010 design contest for embedded engineers. Each entry will be judged equally on technical merit, originality, usefulness, cost-effectiveness and design optimization by an independent panel of judges.
