National Instruments introduced LabWindows/CVI 2009, which is an ANSI C development environment for building reliable test and measurement solutions. The new features in LabWindows/CVI 2009 build on the software development platform with support for new PC technologies, such as Microsoft Windows 7 and 64-bit operating system development and deployment. In addition, the latest version introduces new tools for run-time analysis and easier user interface design to help create more reliable applications in a shorter amount of time.
The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) released the draft 1.3 standard of the SystemC Synthesis Subset. The Synthesis Subset Draft 1.3 standard is intended for use by logic designers, electronic engineers, and design automation tool developers. It describes a standard syntax and semantics for SystemC synthesis. The Synthesis Subset Draft 1.3 standard is available for download under open-source license.
