Energy Micro Introduces EFM32G-DK3550 Development Kit

Energy Micro released the EFM32G-DK3550 development kit for their EFM32 Gecko microcontroller family. The new development kit includes full SEGGER J-Trace and J-Link support. This reduces the need for additional debugging tools. The EFM32-DK3550 is available now. Prices start at $309. Energy Micro’s Gecko microcontroller family consists of over 240 variants based on the ARM Cortex-M processor cores.

The EFM32G-DK3550 Gecko development kit is based on the main board from the bigger Leopard and Giant Gecko kits. The kit features the ARM Cortex-M3 EFM32G890F128 microcontroller, 16MB NOR-Flash, 4MB PSRAM, Ethernet MAC/PHY, MicroSD support, audio I/O, on-board USB debug interface, on-board Advanced Energy Monitoring (AEM) system, full color 320 x 240 resistive touch TFT display, switches, joystick and LEDs.
