Microsemi is offering a webinar about the requirements and tradeoffs of running uClinux on Microsemi’s SmartFusion customizable SoC (cSoC). The webcast is ideal for SmartFusion users interested in running uClinux and in learning more about what possibilities this solution enables. The online seminar will take place Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 9-10 am PST. A recorded version of the webinar and all presentation materials will be available after the event. The webinar is titled: uClinux on SmartFusion cSoC using ARM Cortex-M3.
The webinar Microsemi will cover the requirements and tradeoffs of running uClinux on the SmartFusion customizable SoC, based on ARM’s Cortex-M3 processor. Several demonstrations will be shown including a Qt-Embedded graphical interface implementation using a soft-ip LCD controller in the SmartFusion FPGA fabric, a 4-wire SPI LCD demonstration, and additional demonstrations of networking and Linux shell capabilities with uClinux. The demos will be shown on the Emcraft SmartFusion board and on the Microsemi A2F500-DEV-KIT. The presentation is targeted at SmartFusion customers who are interested in running uClinux and want to see what is possible with this solution.
