Webinar: Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors for Signal Processing Applications

Analog Devices will be conducting another webinar tomorrow (October 12). The online seminar will describe the basics of Digital Signal Processing and DSP architectures, the heart of the signal chain. The title of the webcast is Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors for Signal Processing Applications: DSP and Embedded Processing. The ADI webinar will take place at 12:00 pm EDT.

The DSP webcast will introduce Analog Devices’ portfolio of digital processors. The webinar will explain how the DSPs are used in different market segments and applications. The online event will also introduced ADI’s hardware and software tools. The seminar is ideal for students and engineers new to the field, as well as more experienced engineers looking for a refresher course on DSP and embedded processing.

Overview

In this third webcast of our 12-part series on the Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors for Signal Processing Applications, we move to the heart of the signal chain: the DSP. The world is analog but most products require a digital interface. This session describes the basics of Digital Signal Processing and DSP architectures. In addition to this, we will go through Analog Devices’ portfolio of Processors-DSPs, how they map into the different market segments and applications, as well as the supported hardware and software tools that make DSP system development possible.

The webinar will be presented by Maikel Kokaly-Bannourah (Senior Applications Engineering in the Processor-DSP Core Processors and Technologies group at Analog Devices).
