2011 ASIA Power Architecture Conference

The ASIA Power Architecture Conference will take place September 1, 2011 in Shenzhen, China. The 2011 ASIA Power Architecture Conference will coincide with the 20th anniversary of Power Architecture technology. The one-day conference will focus on the future vision and application of Power Architecture. The event is free and is ideal for C-level executives, managers, engineers, designers, SoC architects, software and third party tool developers, and academia.

Watson will be featured in the 2011 ASIA Power Architecture Conference. Watson is an IBM computer system based on POWER7 microprocessors. Watson can quickly and precisely answer natural language questions over an open and broad range of knowledge. A Watson demo will be on hand to showcase the limitless possibilities of this thinking machine.

A Chinese government official will keynote the ASIA Power Architecture Conference. After the keynote, executives and experts from Power.org member companies will present an array of business and technical tutorials, solutions and demonstrations. The conference will also feature an executive round table discussion of requirements and challenges for next-generation smart systems. ThinkPower for the Future will give attendees the chance to hear from industry leaders about their insights.
