The data helps engineers to detect and analyse the unpredictable and transient of bugs. Long Term Trace enables extended measurement times for TRACE32 profiling and code-coverage functions.   • Tool acts as a 4GByte FIFO buffer before streaming the data over Gigabit Ethernet to the host and a fast hard drive for later storage and analysis
  • Currently available for the ARM Cortex A8/A9 and the PowerPC Nexus (being expanded to other processor families)
  • Records at a frequency of up to 275 MHz DDR
  • Supports 8.8 GBit/s data rate with 16 pins for the trace package
  • Supports 4.4 GBit/s data rate with 8 pins for the trace packages
  • Data rates of up to 20 GBit/s can be recorded
  • Requires a host PC with a dual core processor with 64-bit operating system and a fast access hard drive
