Analog Devices (ADI) is offering a webinar on sampled data systems. The title of the webcast is: Understanding Sampled Data Systems – Part One. The 60-minute online seminar will take place on April 13, 2011 at 12:00 pm EST. The tutorial will focus on the conversion of analog electrical signals into digital signals, which can then be analyzed and manipulated by DSP, microcontrollers, and other embedded processors.
Next week’s event is the first of three webinars. The first webcast will discuss cover the fundamentals of sampled data systems, unipolar and bipolar codes, transfer functions, Nyquist theory, and filters. The next two tutorial will take place in May and June. Those events will cover the use of data converters.
The Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors for Signal Processing Applications: Understanding Sampled Data Systems webinar is ideal for engineers and students new to the field, as well as those more experienced engineers looking for a refresher on amplifier specifications and selection. The seminar will be presented by David Kress, Director of Technical Marketing, Analog Devices. Kress is a veteran analog applications engineer with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
