ScanWorks High-Speed IO Toolkit for PC Client

ASSET announced the ScanWorks High-Speed IO (HSIO) Toolkit for PC Client, which is a web-based tool for validating and debugging circuit board designs targeting future 22nm based Intel Core processors for the desktop and mobile applications. ScanWorks HSIO Toolkit includes tools that provide detailed information on DDR3, PCI-Express Graphics (PEG), and Direct Media Interface (DMI) buses. The ScanWorks HSIO Toolkit for PC Client is available now. A 90-day license costs $1,995.

ScanWorks HSIO for PC Client Features

  • Debug validation issues with detailed bit- and lane-level data
  • Visualize results and filter on individual lanes to find layout problems
  • Utilizes Intel’s free tools (BIOS RMT, PEG and DMI executables) to unlock bit- and lane-level results
  • Results are stored in a database for easy reference, searching, sorting and exporting
  • 90-day license is structured to allow time for a full validation cycle at a low cost
  • Options such as loop count, crosstalk, burst size ranks to be tested
  • Supports Intel 22nm second generation Core microarchitecture processor (code name Ivy Bridge-HE/HM/H/M)
  • Supports DDR3, PCI-Express Graphics (PEG), and Direct Media Interface (DMI) buses
  • Quickly determines the poorest performing lanes or data lines on a bus and display the results of diagnostic analysis graphically
