Infolytica MotorSolve v2.4 Electric Motor Design Software

Infolytica rolled out version 2.4 of MotorSolve, which is a electric motor design software for brushless dc, induction and switched-reluctance machines. MotorSolve makes it easy to design and verify the performance characteristics of an electric motor with accuracy and speed. MotorSolve v2.4 has several new templates, new VHDL-AMS model exporting of an induction or brushless-dc motor for use in multi-domain simulations and now supports multi core processing. Infolytica MotorSolve v2.4 is now available for PC’s running Microsoft Windows 7, Vista and XP.

MotorSolve v2.4 Highlights

  • Several new templates have been added, including:
    • Wound rotor induction machines template
    • Embedded variable orientation magnets IPM rotor template
  • PWM analyses are now twice as fast in most cases
  • Over 20 new or improved analysis and results computations
  • Added response surface model export of BLDC and IM motors to Simulink and VHDL-AMS format
  • Support for multi core processing
  • Many common functions (sin(0, sqrt(), etc..) can now be applied to input parameters
