Webinar: Designing Embedded HMIs and Connecting Them to Hardware

QNX Software Systems and Teknision are offering a webinar titled, Designing Embedded HMIs and Connecting Them. The webcast will take place at 9am PT (12pm ET) on Thursday May 27, 2010. The online seminar is ideal for embedded software development managers, architects, and developers. The embedded system webinar will be presented by Andy Gryc (Product Marketing Manager, QNX) and Tony MacDonell (founder, Teknision).

The webinar examines some of the solid fundamentals behind good HMI design. It further explores how to connect the HMI to lower-level components in detail, showing how straightforward that can become with the right design in a complete soup-to-nuts implementation for a simple sample. The webcast will help embedded systems engineers design a user-friendly HMI. Creating an embedded system with an attractive, compelling, user-friendly HMI is no longer the exception, it is the expectation. But designing a beautiful user interface is only half the battle. The real trouble comes when trying to connect traditional bread-and-butter embedded components to that HMI frosting.

The webcast is one hour long and includes a Q&A.
