AWR announced training sessions about electromagnetic (EM) simulation, Microwave Office high-frequency design software, and new technologies for EM simulation. The electromagnetic (EM) simulation training class will take place May 18-19, the Microwave Office class will take place June 8-10, and the EM simulation online training session is available now.
EM Simulation and Modeling
South Plainfield, NJ, May 18 and 19
Provides valuable information about EM simulation tools and how best to apply them to solve design problems. The course emphasizes 3D planar simulators and includes examples from AWR’s AXIEM and EMSight tools.
Advanced Microwave Office Features
Los Angeles, June 8 to 10
Provides insight into harnessing the full capabilities of Microwave Office, including customization to meet specific needs. It covers the user environment, circuit simulation, layout, and EM simulation and extraction.
New Technologies for EM Simulation
This three-hour “on-demand” presentation was originally presented Dr. Dunn at the DesignCon 2010 conference in Santa Clara, Ca. It includes discussions of EM simulation for signal integrity, planar simulator operation, fast iterative methods for planar solvers, iterative solver issues, the finite element method and parallel processing, fast frequency sweeping, and S-parameter extraction.
