The online seminar provides an overview of optimization techniques for advanced analog/mixed-signal SoC designs, showcasing X-FAB’s 0.35 micrometer foundry platform. The hour-long webcast will take place on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 8:30 am PDT (11:30 EDT) and 9:30 am CEST (3:30 China/Taiwan and 4:30 Korea/Japan).
The Art of Integration – Performance and Layout Optimization Techniques for Advanced Analog/Mixed-Signal SoC Designs
The webinar will cover the digital design arena before entering into in-depth discussion of analog layout techniques. The webcast will explore in detail the integration of X-FAB-supported primitive devices into complex integrated chips, including diffusions, wells and associated layers that can be merged. The session also will cover derivation of well combinations from the design layers, and will provide guidelines for high-voltage interconnects across these well regions to avoid parasitic leakage paths.
Although the design techniques will be showcased in X-FAB’s 0.35 micrometer high-voltage process, they also apply to a broad range of analog/mixed-signal process technologies. The webinar is ideal for engineers involved in analog/mixed-signal SoC design, chip layout or area optimization for production.
