Kozio kDiagnostics Design Suite Supports TI OMAP 4 Platform

Posted by Ken Cheung in Test Solution on Wednesday, March 31, 2010

Kozio kDiagnostics Design Suite now supports Texas Instruments (TI) OMAP 4 platform. Kozio’s kDiagnostics Design Suite simplifies the development process for embedded systems. Kozio’s kDiagnostics Design Suite with OMAP 4 platform support is available immediately. Price starts at $24,950. kDiagnostics Design Suite is offered royalty-free.

The kDiagnostics Design Suite circuit board test solution requires no design changes or extra equipment, and eliminates the need for OMAP 4 platform developers to write their own test code. Using kDiagnostics, an OMAP 4 platform-specific validation check list is produced for the respective developer in just minutes. The kDiagnostics Design Suite is usable across all product phases, which enables engineers to get to market quickly with trusted, tested hardware.

The complete Kozio solution is a suite of software tools for board diagnostics, binary image downloading, in-system programming, automated board testing, and power-on self-test. The Kozio architecture has two main components: a target diagnostics application and one or more host applications. kDiagnostics Design Suite includes kDiagnostics and a single floating license of ValidationAssistant.

kDiagnostics is a binary application personalized to the engineer’s hardware. It executes from the CPU on the processor-based embedded system. ValidationAssistant is a host-based application that provides a graphical user interface for interactively executing tests, downloading images, performing in-system programming of devices such as Flash memory, and troubleshooting assembly or design errors.
