Posted by Ken Cheung in Events, Training on Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Misumi will offer a series of free technical seminars on the value of specifying configurable components to engineering professionals attending the 2010 ATX West show in Anaheim. The seminar is titled, Designing a Better Machine Faster With the Configurable Component. The seminar will be repeated on each day of the show from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Misumi’s Hospitality Suite, Meeting Room 201B and C, in the Anaheim Convention Center.

The Configuration Tech Seminar is designed to help engineers overcome the time and performance pressures they typically experience during machine design/builds. Misumi will offer real-world examples and targeted exercises will how the process can be streamlined with a practical, cost-effective approach that boosts engineering efficiency and productivity. Attendees will discover how incorporating configurable components can save significant time and costs by minimizing reliance on custom-made parts.

Leading the seminars are Misumi USA’s Engineering Manager Chris Blaszczyk, noted author and mechanical engineer, and Mike Melone, also a Misumi mechanical engineer and author of numerous articles for the product design and development industry press. In addition to the morning seminar, Misumi engineers will feature brief technical presentations every afternoon as well. Complimentary refreshments will be offered.
