Lynguent unveiled the MAST Language Pack for their ModLyng Integrated Modeling Environment (IME). The MAST Language Pack enables the rapid creation of analog mixed-signal (AMS) models for use in the Saber Simulator. The MAST Language Pack will be available in September 2009. The price is $10,000 U.S. for a one-year license. ModLyng IME enables designers to create, manage, and support HDL-based simulation models for analog, digital and mixed-signal domains. The ModLyng IME allows users to compose models, in a language-independent way, using graphical building blocks. Once complete, a model can be exported to a file containing a representation of the model in one of the following hardware description languages: Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS, and MAST. To accommodate simulators and other tools used in the industry, the ModLyng IME provides a variety of simulator-specific language dialects.
