ON Semiconductor Intellectual Property Blocks

Posted by Ken Cheung in IP Cores on Monday, March 16, 2009

ON Semiconductor announced over 30 new silicon-proven IP blocks. The new IP blocks include solutions for USB 2.0, Ethernet, PCMCIA, and PCI. A variety of microcontroller and peripheral options will also be available. The new synthesizable IP is process-independent, allowing the blocks to be implemented across a variety of ON Semiconductor’s existing and planned ASIC technologies, where technically feasible, from 90 nanometers (nm) to 0.5 micrometer (µm). ON Semiconductor can also offer additional design flexibility by tailoring individual blocks to address non-standard requirements. ON Semiconductor also plans to integrate the new IP blocks into future generations of its application specific standard products (ASSPs).
