EDA Industry – Second Quarter 2008
The EDA Consortium (EDAC) Market Statistics Service (MSS) recently released the latest figures for the electronic design automation (EDA) industry. According to EDAC, revenue for Q2 2008 declined 3.7% to $1357.4 million, compared to $1408.8 million in Q2 2007. However, employment rose 7% to 28,004 professionals in Q2 2008, compare to 26,164 employed in Q2 2007.
