Intermec (NYSE:IN) will host a free webinar on June 30, 2008. The one-hour event is titled, "Windows Mobile 6.1: Benefits for Mobile Computer Users." The educational online event will provide insight from both Intermec and Microsoft on how the Windows Mobile 6.1 platform enhances the performance, security, device management, battery life, virtual memory and capabilities of mobile computing. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. Pacific (12:00 p.m. Eastern) and features Intermec Principal Product Manager Kelly Ungs and Microsoft Pre-Sales Engineer Jason Johnson.

The webinar is relevant for those interested in how platform changes will influence their day-to-day mobile computing. Innovations such as the Intermec CN3 mobile computer and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 will change the landscape of business mobile computing forever. Ungs and Johnson will discuss the benefits of Windows Mobile 6.1, the important differences between Mobile 5.0 and Mobile 6.1, and how the migration, compatibility and benefits for Intermec devices using Mobile 6.1 will affect users.
