Freescale Technology Forum Americas 2008

The Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) Americas will take place June 16-19, 2008, at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Conference Centers in Orlando, Fla. More than 2,000 designers, applications engineers, industry-leading experts, executives and hardware, software and tools partners are expected to attend the Americas event. Attendees will get a close look at technological advances in key market drivers such as going green, health and safety, and the impact of social networking on existing infrastructure and future technologies.

FTF Americas 2008 will include more than 350 hours of technical training sessions organized into six tracks: Automotive, Consumer, Industrial, Mobile Communications, Networking, and Enabling Technologies. The event will also feature a 28,000 square-foot interactive Technology Lab with more than 200 demonstrations from Freescale and its partners, keynote presentations, and an event party at Hard Rock Live featuring a concert from alternative rock band, Barenaked Ladies.

FTF Americas Keynotes

  • Tuesday, June 17 – Rich Beyer, Freescale chairman of the board and chief executive officer
  • Wednesday, June 18 – Lisa Su, Freescale senior vice president and chief technology officer
  • Thursday, June 19 – Cory Ondrjeka, Second Life co-founder and former CTO of Linden Labs

FTF Americas Rates

  • Regular Attendee $1,200
  • Alumni Attendee* $1,000
  • Guest** $150

*Alumni = individual who has attended an FTF event in the past.
**Guest must be 21 years of age, evening events only, breakfast and lunch not included
