Synopsys Releases VMM Methodology for SystemVerilog to Open Source
Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) announced it has released the source code for its complete implementation of the proven VMM verification methodology for SystemVerilog, including the VMM Standard Library and VMM Applications, under the popular Apache 2.0 open source license.

Texas Instruments Joins EnOcean Alliance
The EnOcean Alliance and Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) announced that TI has become a member in the recently established EnOcean Alliance. The Alliance was founded to establish a global standard for sustainable buildings based upon EnOcean’s energy-harvesting wireless technology.

Verific Comments on Open Source Release of Synopsys VMM Methodology
Verific Design Automation announced ongoing support for the VMM methodology, originally developed by Synopsys and released into the public domain today. Verific has offered VMM support in its SystemVerilog analyzer and elaborators since 2006. It was an early VMM Catalyst Member.
