TSMC, Blaze DFM Team on Power Trim Service
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Ltd. (TSE: 2330, NYSE: TSM) announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Blaze DFM, Inc. to offer Power Trim Service, a new service offering combining a patented Blaze power optimization technology with special variations of TSMC’s advanced manufacturing process.

Texas Instruments Debuts TLC5943 16-bit, 16-channel LED Driver
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) introduced a 16-channel, 50 mA constant-current sink LED driver, with an input voltage of up to 17 V. The TLC5943′s integrated enhanced spectrum pulse-width modulation (PWM) improves image quality.

Ethernet Direct Introduces CUE-500 Industrial PoE Switch
Ethernet Direct Corporation releases CUE-500 Industrial Power over Ethernet switch complying with IEEE 802.3af standard. The Cobra CUE-500 is a hardened Industrial 5-port Slim Unmanaged Ethernet Switch. It supports four PoE injector ports classified as power source equipment (PSE).
