ARC, Toshiba Team on Multicore Configurable Processor Technology
ARC International (LSE:ARK) announced that it has extended the collaboration with Toshiba that begun in 2006 to develop configurable multi-processor technology. As part of the agreement, Toshiba has extended their license for the ARChitect(tm) Processor Configurator8.

Semiconductor Chip Sales Grow by 1.5% to $20.44 Billion in February
Worldwide sales of semiconductors in February were $20.44 billion, an increase of 1.5 percent from February 2007 when sales were $20.14 billion, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) reported today. Sales declined by 4.9 percent from January when the industry reported sales of $21.48 billion.

WiMAX Users to Reach 133 Million by 2012
