AVIX-RT Announces AVIX16 RTOS Version 2.2
AVIX-RT, a manufacturer of embedded software solutions, announces the availability of version 2.2 of its RTOS, AVIX16. AVIX16 is an RTOS targeting 16 bit microcontrollers belonging to the Microchip PIC24F, PIC24H, dsPIC30F and dsPIC33F families.

AXIOMTEK Rolls Out PANEL2170-831 Ultra Slim Industrial Panel Computers
AXIOMTEK introduced two ultra slim 17" industrial panel computers, PANEL2170-831 and PANEL2170-831-FL1.06G, which support a Socket M (478-pin) Intel® Core(tm)2 Duo / Core(tm) Duo/ Core(tm) Solo processor with FSB 533/667 MHz and a superior ULV Intel® Celeron® M 423 processor (1.06 GHz) respectively.

AVIX-RT Introduces 32-bit AVIX32 RTOS
AVIX-RT, a manufacturer of embedded software solutions, announces the introduction of AVIX32, a 32 bit version of its advanced RTOS targeting Microchip PIC32 MIPS based microcontrollers. Based upon its counterpart AVIX16, the AVIX32 is an RTOS targeting the recently introduced Microchip PIC32 family of microcontrollers.

STMicroelectronics Selects Brion Tachyon OPC+ for 45nm Chip
Brion Technologies announced that STMicroelectronics is producing 55 nanometer (nm) and 45nm devices using Brion's Tachyon(tm) OPC+ optical proximity correction (OPC) solution. This follows the successful completion of the companies' earlier OPC joint development program.

Dolomite Creates Flow Focusing Chip for Monodispersed Droplets
UK microfluidics company, Dolomite, have announced the development of a new technology that enables the rapid and controllable generation of monodispersed droplets. Dolomite claim that this new technology has the potential to accelerate drug discovery and enable novel materials fabrication.
