The Flash Memory Summit

The Flash Memory Summit, which takes place August 12-14, has issued a call for presentations. The purpose of event is to provide attendees with practical information on the current state of flash memory and its applications. The summit consists of: tutorials, panel discussions, keynotes, paper sessions, workshops, and special sessions. Topics of interest include:

  • Design methods
  • Flash software
  • Flash controllers
  • Consumer applications
  • Embedded applications
  • Standards
  • Protecting data at rest
  • Hybrid systems (disk or DRAM)
  • Solid state disks
  • Security/content protection
  • Testing and reliability
  • Flash disks
  • Memory cards
  • Other non-volatile technologies
  • Computer applications
  • Mobile handsets

The Conference is open to everyone involved in the design, development, integration, marketing, use, or support of flash memory, or related hardware, software, or services. If interest, please submit a proposal no later than April 25, 2008 to:

Proposal Format
The proposal should be one page and consist of:

  • An abstract
  • A brief outline of major topics
  • A short biography of the presenter

Acceptance will be made by May 16, 2008. A copy of the paper or visuals for publication in the Conference Proceedings must be provided by June 20, 2008.
