ARC Video Subsystems
ARC International (LSE:ARK) set a new standard for high-quality video encoding with the introduction of five new members of the ARC(R) Video Subsystem family: AV 417V, AV 407V, AV406V, AV 404V, and AV 402V. All include ARC’s new patent-pending technology “dynamic adaptive encoding” that enables encoding of video streams at the lowest power. The products are capable of encoding and decoding up to Standard Definition resolution video using advanced video coding standards such as H.264.

Microbridge MBT-303-A Rejustor
Microbridge Technologies’ MBT-303-A rejustor (re-adjustable resistor) is a passive electronic Temperature Compensation (eTC) divider. The MBT-303-A rejustor is ideal for managing temperature in precise analog circuits, optical systems, sensors, and power supply compensation and calibration across a wide range of military, aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical, and consumer applications.

Ardence Select 2.0
Ardence recently released Select 2.0, which includes support for the Windows Vista operating system and enables OEMs to deliver Vista-based devices with multi-purpose functionality on a single operating system as well as provide instant-on/instant-off capability. Select will reduce OEMs’ time, effort, and expense in creating multi-functional Vista-based devices. With Select, system configurations can be instantly booted and applications made immediately available in pre-configured states for optimized user experiences and productivity.

OmniVision Automotive CMOS Image Sensors with Near Infrared Capability
OmniVision Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OVTI) added near infrared (NIR) capability to its portfolio of single-chip automotive CMOS image sensors. With integrated NIR capability, OmniVision’s automotive sensors can operate in dual mode, allowing them to function equally well in both day and night vision applications, and thus eliminate the need for two separate solutions. The NIR capability significantly improves functionality for automotive safety and security applications while allowing OEMs and automotive manufacturers to simplify system designs and reduce the overall system bills of material.

Mistral Accelerator Program for Windows Embedded CE 6.0
Mistral Solutions’ Accelerator Program for Windows(R) Embedded CE 6.0 is designed for use with Texas Instruments Incorporated’s (TI) DaVinci(TM) technology. The Accelerator Program for Windows Embedded CE 6.0 is a complete Software Development Kit (SDK) for TI’s TMS320DM6446 Digital Video Evaluation Module (DVEVM) based on DaVinci technology. Mistral’s BSP enables customers of DaVinci technology to prototype their software on the DVEVM board before implementing their products.
