AdaCore Debuts GNATstack Analysis Tool for Safety-Critical Applications
AdaCore, provider of the highest quality Ada tools and support services, announced the immediate availability of GNATstack, a static analysis tool that helps developers predict the maximum stack usage requirements for their applications. GNATstack is available separately or as part of AdaCore’s GNAT Pro High-Integrity Edition products, supporting development for DO-178B, DO-278 and other related safety-critical standards.

IMEC Analog to Digital Converter Sets Record with Figure of Merit of 65fJ
A new ultra-low power (0.7 mW), high-speed (50MSamples/s) analog to digital converter, presented by IMEC earlier this year at the ISSCC conference, achieves a figure of merit of 65fJ per conversion step. This is 2.5 times better than the best ADC of this kind ever reported in research papers and an order of magnitude better than the best commercially available ADC IP blocks in 90nm CMOS.

GrammaTech CodeSonar Enterprise Features Web-Based Defect-Management

The system will use Java software running on the Aonix PERC Ultra virtual machine on top of MontaVista Software’s Mobilinux operating system and the Freescale i.MX31 multimedia applications processor.

Express Logic Supports Luminary Micro Stellaris LM3S1000, LM3S8000 MCUs

CSR BlueCore5-Multimedia Features Sensory’s FluentSoft Bluetooth Suite
CSR (LSE:CSR) expanded its portfolio of software enhancements for the BlueCore5-Multimedia platform with the addition of Sensory’s award winning speech recognition software to CSR’s eXtension Partner Programme. The FluentSoft Bluetooth Suite from Sensory will allow CSR’s customers to integrate speech control and command functions to Bluetooth mono and stereo headsets and hands-free car kits.

ISE Labs Expands Test Capabilities with Verigy V93000 Pin Scale HX Card

Tensilica Validates Diamond 38xVDO Video Core with EVE’s ZeBu

Altera, XtremeData Demonstrate FPGA-Intel Xeon Front Side Bus Module
Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR) and XtremeData, Inc. announced they are demonstrating their operational FPGA/Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor-based front side bus (FSB) module at the Intel Developer Forum. Equipped with an Altera(R) high performance Stratix(R) III FPGA, the XD2000i targets the Intel FSB at 1066 MHz for coprocessing applications.
