ICS Triplex Launches AADvanced Safety and Critical Control Systems

NEC Electronics’ first PowerMOSFETs in TO-263-7 package (distribution: Gleichmann Electronics) feature not only a significantly reduced leakage current and optimized heat dissipation, but also by use of a 7-pin package the low on-resistance Rds(on) could be reduced to a maximum of 1.5 milliohms (NP180N04TUG).

Opera Software announced that the Opera 8.5 browser for Devices has been ported to the Intel(R) CE 2110 Media Processor through Amino’s IntActT IPTV software stack. Currently shipping for the consumer electronics (CE) market segment, the complete system-on-a-chip (SoC) architecture is designed to power a new generation of devices, such as digital set-top boxes and networked media players.

M6 Standardizes on ATEME Kyrion H.264 for IPTV Encoding
ATEME(TM) SA (Bievres, France), an acknowledged leader in standards-based video compression solutions, announced that leading French television broadcaster M6 (Paris) has standardized its IPTV encoding platform around the ATEME Kyrion(TM) H.264 solution. M6 can now deploy 9 SD channels and its HD channel M6 HD directly through ADSL. DMP Electronics Licenses Moore Microprocessor
Alliacense announced that DMP Electronics Inc. has purchased an Implementation License to the Moore Microprocessor Patent (MMP) Portfolio from the TPL Group. An Implementation License empowers manufacturers of microprocessors and/or other component parts to incorporate MMP technology (i.e. “Implementations”), while TPL retains the right to collect royalties from their customers that manufacture and sell finished, end-user products using the Implementations.

Xilinx, Screen Service Debut Multichannel Video-Over-IP, IPTV Solutions

Xilinx, Barco Develop Single-Chip JPEG2000 Encoder, Decoder
At the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC), Xilinx, Inc. Xilinx, MindWay Announce Digital Television Modulation IP Cores
