Varisys VMS1 PMC Module
The VMS1 is an IEEE P1386.1 compliant PMC module that allows one or two standard CompactFlash memory cards to be used to build a compact and robust mass storage solution for embedded systems. Dual CompactFlash card support on the VMS1 allows software RAID to provide either striping for high capacity and performance (level 0) or mirroring for enhanced reliability (level 1). VMS1 ruggedization options are available to support industrial, airborne and military applications, including industrial temperature operation, conduction cooling and conformal coating.

Flashstream Flash Vector Programming System, by BPM, offers the fastest flash programming of NAND and NOR flash memory at speeds as low as 2.5% over theoretical programming minimum. Moxa’s Active Ethernet I/O products give system integrators a new option that relies on conditionally triggered I/O status notification with customizable output messages and simultaneous local output control. Rather than simply waiting for a request for information, the Ethernet I/O server intelligently transmits data over the network only when certain customizable I/O conditions are met. Network and host resources are not expended by the continual polling of the server when I/O conditions remain within the customizable threshold. This makes network communication between the host computer and Ethernet I/O server concise and efficient, and data transmission is 20 times faster than with traditional SCADA systems (50 ms compared to 1 sec).
