Microprocessor Forum 2007

The Microprocessor Forum will take place May 21 – 23, 2007 at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California. The event is organized by In-Stat. The forum provides detailed technical presentations of new ideas and interesting solutions, as well educational examples that can be shared among engineers.
Sessions and panels include:
Power-Efficient Performance for Multimedia Applications
The tutorial section will include eleven presentations from different experts. Three presentations will address the influence of new semiconductor processes and integration levels on design decisions affecting architecture and circuits. Two presentations will showcase examples of new architectural configurations. Efficiency measurements will be the topic of one of the presentations. Four presentations will provide tutorial material on software tool status, applications, and system software to complete the knowledge required for understanding the trends in architecture and design. Finally, to understand the rapid introduction of breakthroughs in process technology and what can be expected long term, a presentation will offer a brief simple overview of semiconductor physics.Advances in Computer Technology
