Altium Limited (ASX: ALU), announced that it has added support for the direct import of FPGA cores generated by third-party applications to its Altium Designer unified electronic product development system. This new tool makes the creation and import of highlyoptimized, device-specific custom FPGA cores from device vendor tools such as Xilinx’s Core Generator and Altera’s Megafunction Wizard easy and efficient and significantly enhances the ability of FPGA developers to take full advantage of the high-level design capabilities of Altium Designer to accelerate system development.
Hikvision to Integrate ObjectVideo, TI Technology into Video Products

Arrow Electronics to Distribute PHYTEC Rapid Development Kits
The North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) announced it has entered into an agreement with Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) to distribute PHYTEC Rapid Development Kits, powered by ADI’s Blackfin processor, to original equipment and contract manufacturers across North America. Intel to Roll Out 45nm Penryn Processors This Year
Marking the next step in Intel’s “tick-tock” product strategy and cadence to deliver a new process technology with an enhanced microarchitecture or entirely new microarchitecture every year, Intel Corporation will begin producing its next-generation Penryn family of processors in the second half of this year. ST Licenses MIPS’ 64-bit Architecture

TCS, Tata Sell Holding in SITEL India

Designed for driver-assistance applications, the MB91F465XA is built around a Fujitsu FR 70 32-bit CPU, with an internal clock speed of 100MHz and voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V. Based on the E-Ray core licensed from Robert Bosch GmbH, the device uses VHDL code certified by TUV Nord, supports 2-channel and FIFO operations, and supports 218 different identifiers by providing more than 8kBytes of message buffer memory.
