The future of 193 nm immersion (193i) lithography will be driven by the demonstration of a high-index lens material, invention of a third generation immersion fluid, and development of a high-index photoresist, SEMATECH-sponsored scientists reported at last week’s SPIE Advanced Lithography Symposium.
iBiquity Hires HD Radio Manager for Latin America
iBiquity Digital Corporation, the sole developer of digital HD Radio(TM) technology, has hired Fernando Monetti as Manager, Broadcast Business Development for Latin America. Monetti will help manage and develop demand for HD Radio broadcasting in Latin America, where interest in the technology continues to rise following its preliminary implementation in Brazil, which now boasts 16 HD Radio stations broadcasting to a coverage area of 30 million people.

Quantum3D Introduces Three Thermite Tactical Visual Computers

Research Leads to Larger Grant for IMEC
The Flemish Minister of Science and Innovation, Fientje Moerman, signed a new frame agreement between IMEC and the Government of Flanders for the period 2007-2011. The agreement follows a positive evaluation by a group of independent external consultants and peer reviewers.
