X-FAB
X-FAB is offering a free analog/mixed-signal seminar. The event will take place Tuesday, March 6th. Lunch will be included.

The seminar will explore how flexible AMS CMOS technologies can make complex mixed-signal design a little easier. A presentation will introduce X-FAB's mixed-signal process architecture style and explains how its unique modularity enables cost-effective selection of primitive devices that are essential for designs beyond a plain vanilla CMOS chip.

The event highlights X-FAB's 0.35 and 0.18 micrometer process platforms, including existing and future features. A second presentation will focus on the design and integration of analog circuitry into an IC. It covers X-FAB's XH035 digital library layout concept and discusses in-depth analog layout techniques for complex integrated chips. Attendees will hear layout tips for ensuring digital noise is not induced into the sensitive analog sections of a design, and will discuss layout guidelines that help prevent latch-up in pad cells.
