COMMELL Introduces HS-872P Core 2 Duo mobile PISA CPU Card
Taiwan Commate Computer Inc., announce the Half-size PISA(PCI+ISA) platform HS-872P based on Intel 945GM Express and 82801GBM Chipset, which is optimized by the Core 2 Duo/Core Duo mobile and Celeron M on 65nm processors to address the requirements of a wide range of embedded applications such as interactive clients and industrial automation equipment.

National Instruments Rolls Out LabWindows CVI 8.1 Real-Time Module
National Instruments announced the release of the NI LabWindows/CVI 8.1 Real-Time Module, an extension to the proven ANSI C development environment that makes it easy for engineers to create and deploy reliable and deterministic applications to dedicated real-time hardware such as PXI and desktop PCs. LabWindows/CVI Real-Time takes advantage of network variables to simplify the process of transferring data between real-time and Windows applications. The software also introduces a new high-resolution timing engine for achieving more precise timing and determinism.

Emerson Debuts High-Speed Fabric Interface with Dual 10-Gbit Ethernet
Emerson Network Power’s (NYSE: EMR) new Embedded Computing business, formerly Artesyn Communication Products, announced a new high-speed switched fabric interface for its KAT4000 AdvancedTCA (ATCA) telecom blade. The enhanced interface provides dual 10-Gigabit Ethernet channels for accessing the ATCA High-Speed Fabric.

DDR PHY Interface Specification
Denali Software, Inc., on behalf of all DDR PHY Interface (DFI) specification participating members, announced the release of the DFI specification version 1.0. The DFI specification won the prestigious DesignVision Award at DesignCon in San Jose, CA. Participating members of the DFI specification include representatives from industry-leading companies ARM, Denali, Intel, Samsung and Synopsys. The DFI specification speeds DDR memory system deployment, and reduces the significant integration and verification costs by systems developers, memory controller vendors, and PHY providers.
