• Catalyst Semiconductor Debuts Voltage Supervisors with Embedded Memory
  Catalyst Semiconductor, Inc. (NASDAQ:CATS), a supplier of analog, mixed-signal and non-volatile memory semiconductors, launched three new families of voltage supervisors with the industry's broadest selection of embedded memory. The CAT130xx supervisor family offers 1-, 4-, 8- and 16-kbit embedded EEPROM with Microwire serial interface. The CAT140xx and CAT150xx provide 2-, 4-, 8- and 16-kbit embedded EEPROM with I2C and SPI serial interface protocols, respectively.
• Kineto Wireless Enables BenQ UMA Dual-Mode Handsets
  Kineto Wireless, Inc., the key innovator and leading supplier of Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) technology, announced that BenQ has selected Kineto's industry-leading UMA client software for inclusion on a number of upcoming UMA-enabled dual-mode handsets. The BenQ handsets to feature the Kineto UMA client include an open OS smart phone and a feature phone available later in 2007.
• Elma Bustronic Develops 14-slot Dual Star MicroTCA Backplane
  Elma Bustronic Corporation, an industry leading designer and manufacturer of high performance backplanes, has developed a new 14-slot Dual Star MicroTCA backplane. The unit features 10 AMC slots, and dual redundant power module and MicroTCA Controller Hub (MCH) slots in a 14-slot backplane.
• USPTO Awards Consumer Biometrics Device Patent to bioMETRX
  bioMETRX Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: BMRX) a leading developer and supplier of biometric solutions, announced that it has been awarded a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its smartTOUCH GDO(TM) (Garage Door Opener). The patent on the Garage Door Opener itself encompasses both the design and the architecture of the device.
