- IBASE Debuts Mini-ITX Motherboard with Intel Core 2 Duo, 945GM Chipset
IBASE Technology, a leading manufacturer of embedded computing platforms, releases the MB899X Mini-ITX motherboard that supports the latest Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo processor and the Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express chipset. The new board comes with a PCI-E x16 slot providing up to 30 times the throughput of the PCI bus, translating into a bandwidth of 4 Gbps (Gigabytes per second). - TI Introduces Two New Target Boards for eZ430 Development Tool
Giving designers of portable, battery-powered applications added flexibility and functionality in a low cost, full-featured development environment, Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) announced availability of two new target boards for the eZ430 development tool: the T2012 and the MSP-Mojo. At $10 for a pack of three target boards, the T2012 features the MSP430F2012 ultra-low power microcontroller (MCU) with an integrated high performance 200 ksps, 10-bit analog to digital converter (ADC). - Nanosecond Timing Synchronization for Electronic Trading Systems
In response to Regulation NMS and MiFID, FSMLabs announced immediate availability of Nanosecond Timing Synchronization software for Electronic Trading Systems using RTLinuxPro technology. RTTimeSync was originally created by FSMLabs for use by the military for mission-critical and safety-critical communications systems and has been adapted to handle the stringent trading timestamp regulations for NMS and MiFID.
