  • Lattice Wins Product of the Year Award for LatticeECP2M FPGA
    Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) announced that its LatticeECP2M(TM) FPGA family has been named “Product of the Year” by Electronic Products magazine. Product of the Year recognition from Electronic Products magazine is among the most prestigious awards in the electronics industry due to the longevity of the competition (every year for the past 31 years) and its selectivity: each year the editors of Electronic Products select only a handful of products from among the thousands introduced.
  • ARTiSAN Studio 6.2 to Launch at Embedded World
    At Embedded World 2007 (Hall 10, Stand 408), ARTiSAN Software Tools will launch ARTiSAN Studio 6.2 which will round-off ARTiSAN’s support for advanced OMG SysML(TM) with activity diagram enhancements and explicit parametric diagram support, in addition to ergonomic profile-based internal block diagram and block definition diagrams support. The ARTiSAN Studio 6.2 release will also focus on infrastructure improvements to assist deployment across multiple large sites and distributed teams as well as the incorporation of customer-requested enhancements.
  • Intel Upgrades to Corporate Member of Open SystemC Initiative
    The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI), an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing SystemC(TM) as an industry standard language for electronic system-level design, announced that Intel Corporation has upgraded to Corporate-level Membership in the organization, giving it more direct interaction with the strategic evolution of the standard and a seat on the OSCI board of directors. Intel becomes the organization’s ninth Corporate Member, joining ARM Ltd., Cadence Design Systems, Inc., CoWare, Inc., Forte Design Systems, Mentor Graphics Corporation, NXP, STMicroelectronics and Synopsys, Inc.
