• Agere Debuts TrueNTRY X122 Low-Cost Cellular Phone Platform
  Agere Systems (NYSE: AGR) introduced the TrueNTRY(TM) X122, a low-cost cellular phone platform for the market's largest segment. This announcement coincides with this week's 3G World Congress and Mobility Marketplace 2006 in Hong Kong.
• ST Receives Automotive-Grade Qualification for ST7FMC Microcontrollers
  STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM), one of the world's leading suppliers of microcontrollers for automotive applications, announced that its ST7FMC microcontroller family has been Automotive-Grade qualified to meet the specific and rigorous demands of the automotive market. Built around an industry-standard 8-bit core and designed for driving Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors, the microcontroller family is ideal for use in various car body applications such as fuel and water pumps, cooling fans and interior blowers.
• ZigBee Alliance Certifies XBee and XBee-PRO OEM RF Modules
  Digi International (NASDAQ:DGII) announces that its MaxStream branded XBee(TM) product family has been ZigBee Certified by the ZigBee Alliance. The XBee and XBee-PRO OEM RF modules passed rigorous independent testing to become one of only four products to receive ZigBee certification.
• Enea Unveils DSPNet TCP/IP Stack for Digital Signal Processors
  Enea (STO:ENEA), the world leader in advanced device software, announced DSPNet, a compact, high-performance TCP/IP stack for its OSEck DSP real-time operating system. The compact new stack, optimized for deeply embedded applications with tight size and cost constraints, occupies less than 40 kbytes of memory and can support IPv4, IPv6, and dual-mode IPv4/IPv6 traffic. DSPNet supports raw IP/UDP/TCP BSD Sockets and provides a zero-copy API based on BSD Sockets. Enea will also offer a broad range of optional security and networking applications for the new stack.
